Bathpool & Obridge

Bathpool and Obridge are located between Creech St Michael and Taunton Station, and are accessible from the A38 (Bridgwater Road) and A358 (Obridge Viaduct). Both locations afford reasonable views of passing trains, but both are located on busy main roads. Parking for Bathpool can be found close to Hyde Lane, while parking for Obridge is best at the Wickes superstore car park, or Obridge Premier Inn car park and then a short walk up onto the bridge.
It's possible to obtain good up and down shots in the Bathpool area, while Obridge is only really at its best in the summer months for down evening services.
